Well Ryan I dont want 103 just to piss you off, I just think 103 looks cool and I mean I do like 104 anyway but my ending was so bad that i kinda feel obligated to go for lower. Besides, that would make a few people lose points. And Silo deserves more play, anyway :D . I mean really, look at all the people with 106, i mean 106 is so bad, everyone should have 105 that has 106, and at least one more with 104. Its pathetic really.

anyway

Jungle Agent 0:54 (2)

2 Xenia backboosts and a crate guard backboost. I tried the slap strat at the start, but that got annoying fast. I think consistency is more important with a clean run overall.

the slap is pretty consistant, its just that if the guard see's you he magically gets more health cause hes alert or something. so you gotta get the correct angle/timing which can be annoying to learn but once you get it, should be easy to do most runs

But IMO 2 slap first guard, makes the keyguard better. but surely you could do 24

Depot Secret Agent 0:48 (first try)

Once i have half decent PR's on SA/00 Depot, i'll be moving onto Train. I haven't been looking forward to Train whatsoever (I dont have PAL anymore:( ).  I've noticed on all levels, that the guards accuracy and reaction speed is allmost doubled on NTSC which makes me fear it even more. Anyone got any tips?

- Start with either A or SA, starting with 00A might kill your motivation and it's easier to get the hang of the level on a lower difficulty.
- A dot might help. For me the gain isn't big, but I feel that it helps slighty.
- Turn off auto-aim. I'm assuming you're not going to use the wr strat for SA/00A yet. This makes it easier to kill Ouromov and then the two black guards.
- Try to keep full speed in the 3rd and 4th wagons. If you run with an angle that allows you to laser them perfectly, then you're probably not running full speed. Full speed means you're looking to the side, like normally.
- Move back after doing the locks, this prevents guards from spawning. Definitely do this if your health is very low.

Train is so @#%$ advantaged on PAL i cant even take it any more. I seriously just want to say @#%$ it on this level. I dont understand how Ace and Henrik can cake fast locks and just plow through piles of guards. Agent is way cakier on NTSC since you can kill guards with like one hit, but on SA/00A they are far more annoying. I just watch Ace's runs and theres like no lag on the breaks, he just cakes these ridiculous breaks, I mean watch his 126. Also when I charge the guards at the end, the game lags like @#%$ and its nearly impossible to not get stuck on a guard or get backboosted 5 times. I just think NTSC is so insanely disadvantaged on SA/00A, but for agent it isnt as dramatic. Oh well, f'uck train.

:rolleyes  Unbelievable the way you go on about how NTSC has no advantage over PAL in all your other posts, and tell anyone who says it has that they're @#%$ and making up excuses. And then the one level where PAL could be advantaged you make a big post whinning about it. :rolleyes

I don't think any of us "cakes" locks, in fact i haven't had a single good set of locks in the last 10 hours of playing.
And if i'm not mistaken you got locks on NTSC(OMG!) that were almost as fast as Rayan's??? That's faster than i have done on the "Completely lag free" version of Train also known as PAL.

And when you say Rayan doesn't have any lag on Train, perhaps you should've watched his other vids, Pretty much all of them have very minor amounts of lag.

Also, I played some Train yesterday(PAL'ish), And believe it or not, I got LAG!! So much that i couldn't even do good locks with invisibility!

Anyways, Train is not as easy on PAL as you seem to think it is. Perhaps you should actually try playing some PAL before telling everyone about it's advantages.

Train Secret Agent 1:30 (2)

I also almost had another one where I left like .1 or .2 too early (guard boost).  I also didn't use box boost strat in 1st car.  I play so much better on the rest of the level when I don't use that strat.. but getting by the first car is more annoying of course.

train agent is teh awesome, you can forget about SA and 00. one thing i hate most is people whining about PAL / NTSC advantages. i mean come on... in almost every case of NTSC being advantaged over PAL it has been proven false. players who are struggling on a stage use it as an excuse. disgusting

Just because a player or players with PAL or whatever is able to acheive a time as good as NTSC doesn't mean that there is no diffrence between the systems. I mean, take Depot SA/00a for example, there's a proven advantage for ntsc there(roller doors) and still similar times are achieved on both systems.

Sure using it as an excuse is lame but saying there are no diffrences is simply wrong. I find it very interresting though how tons of players seem to think they know everything about PAL/NTSC without actually owning both systems.

I have 50% PAL and NTSC times, so I feal im entitled to an opinion. Anyway here's the differences between the 2 that I have seen.

The guards Accuracy/Reaction Speed on ALL Agents seem to be greatly improved on NTSC.

I've never noticed a speed difference

Bunker 1 (NTSC): If you fire more than 4 bullets at the first camera, there's usually a second guard outside the room. He was never there on PAL.

Silo (NTSC): Sometimes 1 or 2 of the crate guards go into a weird trance and never shoot you. They just seem to point their gun at you, even if your up close.

Edit: There's a really cool glitch on bunker 1 btw on both NTSC/PAL. Once you've shot the 3rd camera, the guard in the room opposite starts acting really strange (Not the alarm guard) Go shoot the alarm guard (from outside the room) and just watch the other 1. It's funny.

well if you're not one of the top players it's obvious you don't notice small difference in speed easily as a pro would.

On Train, Jungle and Aztec there are more lag on NTSC and therefore these levels are PAL advantage. And I also play Caverns on PAL cause it's easier to survive. All other levels I think is NTSC advantage.

:lol

Anyways for those of you who has both systems and need solid proof that there is a speed diffrence do this:

Play Depot A on ntsc, just run through the level without doing trainshot, you should end up with a 28 even if you had a small stuck.

Then try the same thing on PAL and you'll see what i'm talking about.

haha nice call Henning :p

the NTSC system belongs to a friend of mine who's in Europe at the moment. ill be getting it for free so its basically a win/win situation.

i don't remember saying they are identical - because i wouldn't have a damn clue as Wouter nicely stated, i just think that PAL's (disadvantage) is over-exaggerated and then when someone destroys a stage on PAL, the opposite happens.

overexaggerated is very different than inexistent, so just take care with your wording next time you say there are no differences, because there are glaring obvious differences present.
