This run was .9, i.e 2 tenths from a quickpause doesn't matter. I only care about final time when it comes to full seconds, i'd never do any big changes for some decimals.

How many PhDs my dad has is very relevant to argue against Ryan's statements.

Dan, I was thinking more in the range of "one or two" PhDs.

Which reminds, me, I always laugh when you ask someone how many girls they've had sex with and they say "one or two."

I don't think he would make a point of saying "how many" PhDs when it is just one. And nobody has three PhDs. In fact, having three PhDs is actually a strike against you, since it probably means that they are from crackpot or uncredited places.

No we dont know how many Ryan, why dont you TAS us a video. Wait you can't. Mission Fail. Natalya denied you access to her box

On a serious note, as far as TAS goes, why hasnt anyone "manipulated" the final times? I mean most of the videos are great. I'm using 56.9 as a recent example. Why not save what the time really was for your personal record/indication of what is possible with TAS and then put in like :53? Because I mean that would be insane..whats the point of a real time in a manipulated video?
OG Strat master also donator to the elite - Implemented the idea of WR/PR's to be displayed by "video" on the MAIN PAGE of the elite in the late 90's - Goldeneye N64 World Champion 57/60 WR held at 1 point - Sold the James Bond of boats called "Sunseekers" for 4 years went on to start my own brand

The point is that the it's not a "manipulated video". When posting a run on tasvideos, you don't post a crappy "easy to fake .avi", you post a .m64 file which has 1 thing recorded, INPUT. All controller input for each frame, when playbacked on another computer, it should give exactly the same results as on my own, this also means that faking anything, is impossible. Besides you don't seem to understand what a TAS is all about.

What Sterling? Why would you put in a fake time, that's not the point.

Sorry for the long delay but Surface 2 is finished now. Simply tied simons 1:10 and got 1:10.98!
1:09 is definately impossible, The camera through trees is shot exactly at the point where it's loaded into RAM, same with first cam, therefor route is maxed.

Hopefully vid will be up soon enough.

On another note, if anyone have any ideas for Bunker 2 before i begin there, feel free to post.

Totally random idea, shoot the back of the document, so it jumps forward and grab it half way into the room (not sure if even possible). maybe shoot the tape the same way and grab it on a straight line to the door if possible.

Barwarping is already in Simon's old TAS yet.(requires watch though). Shooting stuff i don't know exactly how that works, pretty sure the stuff wont fly far enough to be worth it but i could try it anyway.

Shooting the back of things can sometimes make them move forward, but rarely, and not by much.  I remember when I first thought of perfect runs I was envisioning the guard in that room blasting the document into you, but I now know that can't happen

Just get as many boosts as you can and reduce lag as much as possible by head shoting every guard you can with 2.3 aiming and keeping explosions down.  I think the route simon used last was the best one we ever found.

2.3 aiming doesn't help, you'll still shoot 3 shots, ignoring guards is better than shooting around for lag. And i'm actually making a test run right now with an alternate route, which should be faster if i can just make the clipboard guy get to a descent position(i lure him very late in the run).

What about throwing knifes?

So your getting the docs first, it's hard to do it that way on console right?

Bunker 2 00A 0:45.15

New strat, Poorly TAS'ed through last 25-40% of level. Potential around 42-43 estimated. Unclear whether it's faster or slower than current strat.

Time was untied when set.

No, he just jizzed on the keyboard when he read Bunker 2 00A 0:45 and the RT buttons got stuck together.
