Omg that was awesome Miikka, you should do more of those.

What's funny is there are idiots on YT who would still comment that they could "beat" that player.

Just gave a try on Surface 2 A with the new throw and got 48 in 10 minutes without even a nade or perfect lines hahaha.
I may give a shot for 47 with 2 nades sometime...

Still I think 49 is very maxed on console. I had decent runs that were still 50, although my throws werent the best on those or the warp. I can see 49.5 on an insane run, but saving that extra .6... just seems unlikely.

I don't know how much time boosts save as I barely even play GE and I also don't know if this has already been thought of before but would it be worth it on A to try and get a nade guard and use the mine to boost yourself? Or too much trouble for too little of a time save?

It would be inconsistent but it would help I think. I used the mine for a boost and failed 48 (and killed the klobb guy though he didn't pull a nade) but I'm not sure if the throw was legit (I did go up the hill though).

You can also get a kf7 boost a little before the throw, though it's rare.

I made a new TAS times page. I added decimals for the times too. I don't have all the m64 movie files though, so I couldn't check the decimals for all of them. I also uploaded a crappy Streets DLTK 2:18 that I did to see how hard it would be to get sub 2:05. Seems a little too hard.

And in case someone didn't notice, I uploaded some of Henrik's old unbeaten Agent TASes: Frigate 22, Cradle 33, Silo 58, Train 50 and Control 3:53 (there's a lol at 1:06). They hadn't been uploaded to youtube before, so some of you might have not seen them.

I've seen the vids on youtube before. I loved when he wrote lol in Control. Also, i agree with Clemens. Jungle should be 49 at least.

Because this was done 3 years ago? The run is awesome, though. Maybe it was low decimal.

Also, Streets 151 is 00A.

Thanks for the correction, Simon. Fixed it. I added a 007 DLTK column there too, even though it's not an official difficulty.

I hope you upload your m64 files some day, so I can check what decimal they are. The Agent times that have a decimal are done by Henrik 3 years ago, so several of them could probably be improved, like Statue 2:17 maybe.

Is it possible to do TAS runs with that emulator i got dam 52 on? I did Jungle 51s with no ladder warp on that lol, I dont think its possible to warp the ladder on it though. Also if you touch a door thats opening, they get stuck and wont open till you move away. This is a huge problem for levels like Facility and Train.

I don't find writing decimals is a good idea, I clearly don't care about them, the end time is the important thing to me.

It's not possible to do TASes with that emulator. It would be really cool to see 60 FPS Goldeneye TASes though.

Hm, I see. I think decimals are very interesting to know for times that are maxed, like your 52 Dam, 59 Cav, 15 Archives and many others, because it's not possible to improve the time in seconds anymore, so at least we can get the decimal as low as possible, and eventually maybe even improve the end time. The decimals are also useful to know if someone tries to improve the end time, so that they know how much they must improve it.

I think you can speed up train by using ZMG and laser watch at the same time, might be useful on console too.  For control I wonder if you could destroy the back MF before nat gets to the console, and destroy the last MF during protect by getting a guard to open the door, then open the elevator for nat.

And for facility do you think you could use a nade to boost?  And is doing a double boost down the stairs more efficient use of explosive?

I had an idea for aztec.  You know how a single guard can open the glass if you have invis on and stand next to it?  I was thinking of a way to get in the guard's way and have him want to run there without invis on.  The biggest obstacle is that he'll see you and will stop running there and fire at you.  But what you can do is lure him to the glass so his back is to you, then run up right next to him so your in his way, try and get him to move.  You'd lure the closest guard behind the MF obv.

Any suggestions?

Wow, nice strat idea with tiny bond and shooting from up there. Doesnt tiny bond make you move slower though? And you might have been able to do grenade launcher boosts if you had spare time waiting for trev, but maybe you didnt.

Haha that's a great spot to shot Trev, I wouldn't have found that ! As far as I know, Tiny Bond doesn't move slower, that's why it's better than ducking. :P

Good idea about the grenade launcher boosts, I didn't think about it. But I'm not sure there would be time for a boost because of how fast you walk with turbo mode, and there was no spare time waiting for Trev. Nice work on that Archives challenge, Simon. I hope you and Henrik continue the 00A TAS one day. I feel like I don't have the skills to make good TASes in the normal mode since they are so 'maxed' already, that's why I do mostly less known modes like Dark LTK.

I tried boosting and there was actually time for at least one rocket launcher boost, but I won't bother improving it since it's such a random challenge. It seems like one boost could improve it by 2 tenths. BTW I wonder if it would be possible to shoot trev at the cinema with 2.3.. lol, probably not :P

Yeah Gold PP7 doesn't really matter, and you can't pause instantly because you have to wait a little for B to complete. Anyway, I managed to improve it to 7 seconds by doing 3 boosts, so I uploaded it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpFV_yCJ7u0

Jungle Dark LTK 1:45

There's a lot of trees to hide behind here, so it's pretty easy to avoid getting hit. I cut almost 19 minutes from the Dark LTK total time with this, heh.

Train Agent 0:47

The first half of this is from an old TAS made by Henrik, I remade the ending using a weapon switch trick suggested by DaTeL237. Just barely under 48. I had some trouble keeping up with Henrik's insane pace, so I lost a tenth way, but started gaining time then after the weapon switch thing. Henrik had 50, so it saved quite a lot of time
