Cradle 00A: Console explosion killed me with 6 bars at 26.0, all objectives complete. Low 36 pace I guess.

Can't say I'm unlucky b/c I barely tried half an hour

Btw, got a brand new Dazzle Platinum which allows me to finally capture with my supersilent Desktop killermachine, is amazing.

Slow glass, 18 flat exit i believe. I guess PAL wr shouldn't be too hard. Are there any PAL/NTSC differences on Control?

Not really. A few doors open slower IIRC, but the overall time loss isn't much.

4:00 PAL isn't as good as 3:58. Don't think 3:59 would be either.

I tried to get a completion on some crap runs, 2 PAL runs (17.3 and 17.8 exits) and 1 on NTSC (18.5 exit) she didn't complete.

Sounds like it might not improve her chanses but ok I'll try a few good attempts on stream soon, maybe bad luck.

You're right about the doors. I checked the differences with emulator and got:

Elevator and Blue doors
154 frames on NTSC = 2.56 seconds
137 frames on PAL = 2.74 seconds

Brown doors
125 frames on NTSC = 2.08 seconds
114 frames on PAL = 2.28 seconds

2.74 - 2.56 = 0,18
2.28 - 2.08 = 0.2

So beginning elevator + 2 blue doors + 2 brown doors = 0,96 seconds. However, in practise it's a bit less since i timed this from fully closed -> fully opened and Bond can often get through doors before they're fully opened.

I did some additional timings where i checked how long it takes to actually get through the doors, and the total NTSC/PAL diff was around 0.5 seconds. I did not bother to include the blue door that we warp.

So i guess low-mid 3:59 PAL = 3:58 NTSC.

Edit: Fixed the seconds being switched between blue/brown doors.

That's good to know, thank you! Why did the developers suck so much? Setting all frame timed events on palframes = ceil(5/6*ntscframes) during the version port is something that anyone who passed computer science kindergarten should be capable of. Instead they used those arbitrary values ...

I understand there are inevitable differences for quick events like firing rates (watch laser, AR33, etc.), but for big fat brown doors there is really no excuse.

Patrik? What strat are you using for the 4th cam? Check out my 0:48, I hold speed in that little corner and it works like a charm most runs. You've still got to be fast to get the cam facing your way ideally, but it's way more consistent than Eise's 0:48 strat.

I have no particular strat. Your way looks pretty consistent. I have more difficulties with the 5th cam, but that might be because I'm taking too much time at the 4th. I might try to play some more.
