Got boosted past clipboard guard or something, then took forever to kill him since guards from behind were shooting me to hell, then as it ried to leave got shot like 5 times, plus a huge klobb guard stuck at the door, then got boosted while trying to blow up 1st cam, eventually ended up having the alarm go off by the 2nd cam lol, pretty much figured Id die when that happened. Was such a great run to B2, oh well.

EDIT: Just died on Streets on a decent Agent run..fucking bullshit. I went like 10 runs in a row on SA avoiding rockets at that 2nd set, but then suddenly they decide to kill me every time on Agent ffs?

Quit out on Jungle after getting boosted past 1st drone, but 145 lol, how is that shit even possible? Pretty much had every luck factor go against me here (no boost from box at first car, then got boosted away from 1st brake, just the start of it)

RCP90 might be a decent strat for a speedrun there, can eliminate tons more guards and have much less lag at the end and reduce chances of botching the locks.

Still, you should make a vid of that 1:45, that's seriously inconceivable.

Of course I'm serious. I just got boosted passed the first brake, then stuck on some boxes forever in 2nd car, boosted passed 2nd break, big guard stucks and shit, also my controller messed up and I started moving to the left so I had to actually pause in the middle of the run and hit R L and Z to stop it. Locks were about as bad as it gets, got backed like 4 or 5 times entering, then they lagged so bad, lol some guards came to the door and starrted boosting me around on the last few locks, then I shot ouro, I actually lost so much time I ran out of laser ammo and had to shoot the last lock with the D5K or whatever. Its easy to say 145 doesnt seem possible first try, but when you play this level first try on NTSC theres a lot of shit that can go wrong.

Does anyone know a safe strat for Caverns SA?? I think it's the most annoying speedrun level of them all (due to scientists)

Anyway, Id just use normal strat. Just strafe up to the first and try to go real close to the console to make sure you scare him off, then for the next 2 just be sure not to injure either one with 1 AR33 round of 3 bullets...if you manage to alert them both the odds of scientists completing should be pretty good.

Yeah, S2 134 is embarrassing. Easily lost 16-17 seconds in the comms room. I shot like 120 bullets on the comm that I already had destroyed. I thought it didn't get destroyed and I was just WTF why doesn't obj A pop up? Truth was it was the other comm that didn't blew up and it took me ages to realize that

I think that looks really good if you can complete a run, and very nice job on the 59 heh really cool, SA is really hard to complete for a fast time though, I mean 00A should be hardest but I guess we're just forced take so much more risks on SA, I mean on Cavs you have to go fast and risk lots or you might not even get a sub3 min time. On many of the other levels too you also kinda could go a bit 00A style but the time would suck so you go with more risky strats and it seems like you can't do a little more risky strat but you need to do a quite a bit more risky strat.

For Aztec you could go with killing Jaws but safe, though it's another one of those that immediately gets more risky since at the end you have to go pretty fast so you get to safety before you die when the lazer guards come. Though I think if you practise that one you can pretty consistently complete a run first try, or just take the chanse on the glass door, I mean you can shoot like crazy to make sure you get all the guards to the glass or even try to get those extra two, 5 or 4 guards running to the glass should make for good chanses. Just remember you have more time to wait for all of those to get there and show yourself to them to mark where you are, really I'd go for that strat on Aztec if I tried this now since I'm pretty confident with how I get good chanses for the glass opening, it's just little slower than normal.

Definitely go with luring 4 guards to the glass. It's probably about an 80% success rate.

I just died on Train on a 00A speedrun. I don't know if it was really good enough to set a new 00A speedrun record, but it was probably similar speed to Train as Rayans record. Some guard blew up a box next to me somehow and reduced me to 2 bars right away in the first car...knew it was over when that happened. Serves me right for not practicing, though.

Well this is really disappointing, I thought I had a new record but I guess I got what I deserved when I didn't practice several key levels and if I had, and didn't get such awful times on a few other levels, I could have smashed this but oh well at least I completed a fucking speedrun.

Dam - 2:05 (best 1:59) - messed up the last alarm otherwise was 2:03 speed.
Facility - 1:07 (best 1:04)- Crappy start, rest was fine.
Runway - 0:48 (Best 0:44)- Standard messed up run.
S1 - 2:00 (best 1:51)- Ugh, one of the nades disappeared and I had to snipe the locks out, lost like 7 seconds on the locks.
B1 - 1:16 (best 1:12?)- Gay ending, rest was ok.
Silo - 2:10 (best 2:07)- Lost a couple seconds on the ending, ok run.
Frigate - 1:25 (best 1:23)- Good
S2 - 1:48 - (best 1:48)- Crazy start, ending parts were bad, still good.
B2 - 1:21 (best 1:20)- Decent, this is the worst level first try for me.
Statue 2:34 (best 2:29?) - decent
Archives 1:06 (best 56)- Really pathetic, pretty annoying to think this alone costed me the WR, and 58 is cake, just all all-round embarrassing run
Streets 2:04 (best 2:02?)- Normal
Depot 1:40 (best 1:15) - ugh, ammo dump didnt finish even though I really thought it would, so I had to do back, lost like 20 seconds from that shit
Train 2:47 (best 2:45?)- Gay start, rest was good.
Jungle 1:48 no clue on best, horrible run, missed 3rd drone , had to go back, only had 11 bullets at Xenia, good aim on Xenia though, was lucky to even live this run, 0 bars at ending.
Control 4:46 , best so far, though of course this is only the 2nd time I have made it to Control on a 00A run, decent i guess, though it could have been 10 seconds better.
Caverns 3:35 , only completion so far, started out good, used some fucked up C strat because Trev got stuck and the door wasn't closed yet, was lucky it completed but it isn't that hard anyway its just that I lost like 20 seconds afterwards from not knowing what to do, didnt practice .
Cradle 53, only completion so far, stupid start, lost like 8 seconds from standing around and being too safe , though I still almost died from being careless in the hut after Trev died which he did very well actually
Aztec.......4:50, pitiful, pathetic, lost like 1 minute at the start from just standing around trying to kill the guards. Got shot twice in the first room and had to be safe, some nade blew up and the smoke was in my way, had to wait for it to clear, ruined the entire speedrun
Egypt 1:03 lol, one shot first baron yep, messed up 2nd baron though, tried to do WR strat for some reason but failed, then ran up and shot him like 3 times, last baron was decent but yeah this was really embarassing, should have practiced.

Well I am happy to complete a 00A run as it is very difficult to complete every level first try, but some of these are just absolutely embarassing and if I had practiced Aztec, Egypt, Cradle, Caverns, Control, Depot and Jungle more this time would likely have been closer to the sub 40 barrier. Might go for lower, not sure.
