Fellow Goldeneye 007 Speedrunners,

I have just updated my page with all my proven only times.  All times on my page have a video currently online proving it.  There are no unproven or untaped times on my page.

If you are another top Goldeneye 007 Speedrunner and are a member of the-elite.net I hope you can join me in reducing your times to provens only.

I respect that a lot Ryan. Until I read your post in the Clemens topic, I had no idea that many of the top 15 weren't  60/60 which is pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Hopefully more of the top players take initiative similar to this because there's no reason ANY of the top PRs out there shouldn't be proven. And before anyone tries to point out I wasn't even a "yes" on that list, remember I am 58/60 and my only 2 missing are a couple of Cradle 70-pointers :lol

The worst thing is exactly that Eddie.  No one gives enough of a @#%$ to actually keep up on proof and know what's proven.  This includes mods and admin like YE or come.  Yes, they give a @#%$, but not enough of a @#%$ to know what's proven.  This is a huge problem in the elite now, which can be evidently seen as this situation (ie: YE called me out for proof, and now I still have provens up and it didn't really affect the ranks)


In fact, of those 16 players I mentioned, I realized Wouter does not have full video proof for all his ranked times.  I'm not 100% sure about ace, I just made an assumption, so it's possible only Illu and Alex are 60/60 of the top GEers.

(and yes I do realize that even I don't give enough of a @#%$ to know if Ace is fully proven or not)

Yeah it's too bad. Whatever happened to proof calls? There was a big one about a year ago, and it wasn't just for WRs, it covered good PRs too which was good. Like I was required to prove Depot 44/51 and all my Statues (pre-2:19 PRs). None of those were WRs but still, 95+ point PRs shouldn't be taken lightly. I think it was Henning that made a good point in the Clemens topic, someone could claim 90 point PR after 90 point PR, and the common WRs, and the way things are now, all they'd have to prove would be the WRs...and boom they're in the top 10, and it's @#%$ up that anyone could get away with that right now.

I don't see what's so hard for the admins to find the top unproven PRs and make a proof call for them, as has been done in the past.

My only unproven times are Frigate SA and Caverns SA, but I do have videos of my 2nd best times there (1:11 and 1:25), so technically I'm 60/60.

I have his "Rayan I. - Cradle 00 Agent 0.38.wmv" but no SA and I think that 00 vid didn't work or something since it's not in my "todo" folder and it's not on his proven page either.
