I'd especially like to highlight this point from the policy:

Former liars may only PR through full video proof. - Harsh? Perhaps, but not nearly as harsh as the old policy. I think one survey-taker said it best: "Add their proven times only. If they really show a change in attitude, they'll be willing to prove any claim." When someone has blatantly lied to the community in the past, you can't help but wonder if they can ever be fully trusted again... Under this Policy, the issue of trust will never come up.

Please post a list of all your times which currently have full, downloadable video proof (when you are unbanned from the forums). Your times are being stripped to provens only as you can't be trusted.

You had Frigate SA 1:01 on the rankings a few months ago for the duration of a few days. Whilst we should strip you to provens as well, the age of your sin and our less-than-speedy response has saved you. But you're skating on thin ice.

You made a good proof policy, and don't know how to enforce it.  If you actually enforced your own rules, maybe you could make logical decisions that actually benefit the-elite, instead of potentially destroy the 2nd best, PROVEN, GE player ever.


Maybe actually give 1 month to prove WRs, or better yet, no time at all!  Don't let the updater accept WRs without admin authorization first, and ask for standard proof calls of PRs that will be rolled back if no video was available.


If these are enforced rules, people wont bend the system, and you won't have to make a hard decision, because obviously you're terrible at making them.

Octo, this is not a proof call. Clemens has posted a fake time and can no longer be trusted, as stated in the proof policy. I understand that all of his unproven times are suddenly being removed from the rankings without a chance for him to send a tape to prove them, but that's the consequences you face when you lie to the Elite. All of his unproven times' credibility has been shattered. He's welcome to provide video proof for his times like any player in 2nd place should.

Clemens here, just wanted to say some stuff regarding this bullshit.

First of all Dan Berubes dam agent 53 is STILL ON THE RANKINGS , after like 4 YEARS of not being proven. So Maybe if you werent such a fag you would do something about this...

But as for me, I dont really see why I should be stripped to only provens when I have proven all of my wrs so far (as far as the ones i had when i sent tapes). I dont really see me posting 47 when I didnt actually get it is so bad, when I admitted to it later and never actually put the time on the rankings. I was actually going to leave 47 on my page and just keep playing for it until I actually got it, so then I would have proof and know I got it, but decided that I shouldnt have fake times on there. Obviously i didnt lie about any of my other times when I admitted to lying about 47..thus showing i am incapable of lying about times. Bryan saw my best time of 22 and 43, also dam 159, so you can suck my dick. I knew i would have to dupe them, and have put a little time at least into duping 43 already. I have 5 159s, so I am not worried about that at all.

Furthermore, I sent  a tape to Michael which had maybe 20% of the stuff captured I sent on it. I think I should be allowed to keep the following times on the rankingsd without proof, seeing as how Michael screwed me over:

Caverns Agent 103 (might still be on tape, but i doubt it..very common record )

Streets SA 1:56 (like 50 people have it, hoenstly who the fucke ven cares)

Egyptian Agent 0:46 ( I doubt anybody doesnt think I got got this when I have proven 46's on sa/00a and Agent is very cakey in comparison , also I got 3 of these so whatever, still on tape actully)

I just find it ridiculous that you have the nerve to try and put me back to provens only when I have put so much effort into this game and I am the one playing it, not you. I think what you should do is give me a few weeks to prove my records (I am sending a tape to Jim tomorrow!) , and I will do runs on levels where I dont have the runs on tape (like for example, for depot i will do a fast exit of 26 on sa that shows my best time of 43, and soemthing on runway agent that shows my best time of 22). seeing as how those are common records and I am beyond that level of play by now, I dont think people will throw up too much of a fuss about it. Nobody watches 22's anyway.

well, heres my concerns on your situation.

i've always believed your times from the start, even after you posted 47. I was disapointed to know it was fake since it sounded so awesome and i wanted to badly see it, but hey its only a game I can get over that. I believe and never doubted your 48 and the rest of your times, cuz I know exactly how you felt and why you posted the 47. I still think you let it go to far there though.

I have competed in my fair share of games since I was about 15,tho mainly for fun,as I could never ever be a top player in anything, so there was no true competition really, just me competing against my own times seeing how far I could go. but theres still always loads of frustration, but you shouldn't ever let it get to the point where you post fake times just because you THINK you should of got it. It just creates a big mess here.

Basically I am saying, I can understand and get over the fact you did it without passing harsh judgement,(unlike some people) but its still really stupid to do and should not ever be done, if that makes sense.

who cares when it was set or what rules were 'enforced' years ago, we live today, and today we 'enforce' these rules. there's no reason why any 53 should be up without proof, or any 22 or 26 etc. it's not unfair to people that don't care enough to even show their face occassionaly either, nor is it fair that people used to be dumb years ago (though that hasn't really changed much).

there's nothing bad at taking a while to prove them, NOR is it bad to enforce rules unASAP.

Clemens: I was able to verify all of the videos that Henning posted except for these ones: Dam 00 2:03, Silo A 1:08, S2 A 0:52, and Depot SA 0:45. I couldn't find those, despite looking extensively for them.

I'll be gracious and leave those 4 times up, plus the others which you say you have on tape. You have 30 days from now to prove them (which is plenty, if you've already sent the tape like you said). The rest of your times will appear as they get proven.

I considered letting you keep times such as Caverns 1:03, but that means I have to draw a line between "easy" and "not easy". You shouldn't have any problems being able to tie those times.

PS. Unfortunately, quitting a run and showing the best time does not count as proof. You can certainly do it to convince people that you're legit, but it won't get your time back on the rankings until a full video of the run is available.
