It's not only about being skeptical or baffled. It's figuring out a burden of proof that everyone can agree on. Who knows what the world thinks of you and/or your times. I think common sense should dictate that there are some people simply better at certain things at a certain time. Clearly we have a fast one, we have at least two people with the keys to the kingdom, and another one with the deepest understanding of the game. Even if his DLTK Control felt like a soap opera when you had to protect Natalya while she worked.
Maybe there's no way to know this contest because of the constant diversity factor/life factor. If you call me another guy, I simply call you another dedicated fan. In DLTK there's only three people in the world willing to come forward and claim to have beaten the dam. I don't know why someone would even need a page displaying it because sometimes it's a no-brainer. Even if it were believed, some people simply play the game for fun or to fight. Whose to say your way is the 'best' way. That doing it faster really means better? But it's your choice, if that's the parameters for it, even if there's no way to know for sure.
The issue comes down to trust, and we all know what the defense thinks of that...
