ok well this surely doesn't deserve a new topic but I don't want it to be posted then get bumped off a page or something


So to do the fastest possible slap on b2 like on my 24, and very consistant do as follows:

You must use 1.2 to get the full affect, (cruise seems a tad slower)

Start off looking down about 50% and pause for your Key magnet

Then after it pulled out, use it ASAP and  hold c-up and keep charging the cell door ahead. While charging, look down roughly another 50% (Total of roughly 75%, even more can be useful)

I assume most of you know the timing of the beep, so when you time it, right strafe and open the door, shortly AFTER you have fully exited the cell, which is just about when you start fully turning, start holding Z NOW to charge your slap. hold z and it slaps automatically. The holding is important, as it seems you get a stronger slap by doing so.

Now, As you are charging your slap, you want to turn into the guard so your slap connects in the side of him. You should be facing nats cell directly as you connect. If you arent facing it directly, you didn't turn enough and he wont die. If he doesn't die, chances are you werent looking down enough, OR you slapped to early OR you didnt turn. or possibly a combination of these. NOW press B to open the cell door, and when you get to the double doors; look up to 100% THIS IS IMPORTANT, you can not get a good keyguard if you are looking down after these doors.

Hm, I never knew that about having to look up after the first double doors. I always continued with extreme lookdown until rounding the corner or so... maybe I'd have gotten 24 back in the day...

I remember I was much more consistent on that part when I looked almost 100% down. But I don't know much about it so yeah. The keyguard part you mentioned is preety interesting, anyway. Very nice.

THANKS, maybe now i can take a shot at 24. I just couldnt get the slap to connect worth a @#%$, so maybe now i can finally do it consistently.

Id like to say upon further review, its around a 80-90% look down i use, i think its fairly close to 100% but not quite, because at 100% you can compltely miss him on a perfectly lined attempt.

And the keyguard thing im at least 90% possitive about, from all my playing.he for sure gets ALOT more consistant anyways, I dont think ive had many 25s with looking down till the hall which I tried for a while. Id usually end up with double door keyguard which is often 26.

I hope 24 becomes a bit more common, but not like b1 17 common 0]

I think a consistant slap is the key to having an interest in the level, and determination. Because I have around 80-90% success with it id say, its more often I miss the slap from me exiting poorly, or he warped and is out of position.

Also, its not that uncommon if you get stuck on the guard as your slap connects for like .1 or so. its just your charging into him, and your slap is a tad late. but i think it is irrelevant if that stuck happens and you can still easily do 24 with it, because your maintaining full speed, and had a good angle to him.



Some other things to note. You want to watch as much of the cinema as humanely possible. The best cinema is with the double doors closing.

You usually want to time your cinema skip as you hear the door close, the guard sometimes warps still though. On the cinema with the patrolling kf7 guard, time your press as he changes directions.Its also possible to fully watch the first cinema and have him not warp. It seems completely random though, but the later you skip the better your keyguard can be.

And another thing I noticed with the keyguard, which is fairly obvious. Is he can only be at a certain spot at best unless you slow down or get stuck. so don't do flawless tape rooms unless you plan to let off speed because he wont EVER make it to the corner. Another slight trick, which i used on my 24, is when you exit the tape room, hug that wall extremely close, and almost face it directly. I swear this makes him warp a bit, and you can have him right behind that wall at the intersection.

You can use 100% look down for the slap, works fine for me now that I tried it again.

Nope :O, but its a bit harder to do


So basically, you want to look down as much as you can, and use it alot, because you cant overlook, but you can underlook
