I can't think of much else to include. This award cannot be a tie. Illu had the most and biggest WRs, but hardly. Ryan White had to spend the beginning of the year actually getting good, while Illu had the advantage of already being good. But should Illu already being at the top really penalize him? Is it more impressive that Ryan did all this work starting at an average 36th place in the elite? It only took him a few months to get a POM award. Illu had way more POM/POQ awards, however Ryan White was *always* active under the surface, while Illu was simply on and off in hot months. The biggest name of the year was probably Ryan White. The biggest WRs of the year were probably Illu and Boss (not a contender, only 14 WRs). Both Illu and Goose in 2006 had great attitudes and were a staple in the-elite gaming. Goose should also be noted for really keeping this place alive and being a great inspiration for newer players, and likely put in the most effort and time this year.
I welcome all of your votes, and please discussion of what you feel is most important for POY and why! If you don't vote, you aren't allowed to complain. Illu and Goose cannot vote.
