^ Maybe I learn fast.
I recognize that you guys have pushed the boundaries of this game, and I haven't. I realize you probably know more then I do. And if somebody gets Streets 1:12 while I still visit this site regularly, I'll shut up (for the most part

).
But let's consider what would be needed for 1:12. Ryan's 1:13 was 8:0, and Wouter's was like 7:0 or 8:0 (from my vague memory of the vid). Both needed about .75 faster for 1:12; this would require at least two or three more boosts, bringing the total to a ridiculous 11:0 or so, which means 5:0 not including the GL. You'd need entirely clean strafing and lookdown almost everywhere. You'd need to not get killed by the rockets (or non-backboosting Soviets, which is very rare) at the end while not jerking too much to lose too much time (which I assume you guys are pretty good at). All those things would have to coincide in a single run.
But could they? I admit I'm not confidently sure of the answer to that question. I just don't see it happening. I like to debate, and I don't think my arguments are unreasonable. I may not be as informed on the topic in question, but that doesn't mean I'm ignorant of it. And I'm not stating this as fact, I'm presenting it as my opinion.
