Man, this is insane.

Every 2 days I check what's happening in the WR topic and since Bryan came back things are crazy as hell.

How the @#%$ do you do it Bryan ? When I played I can remember it took u quite longer to achieve S1 1.50, than it did to achieve 1.49.
Same goes for Egypt, Caverns etc. etc.

Just awesome !

You truely are the best damn GE player. It kinda sucks you make other awesome players (top 10 material) look like they're nothing, not even considering the #10-40 ranked players like myself, who are just a bunch of ultra gays compared to you

Still, you deserve it !

Keep it up, I expect you to get every WR there is eventually, tied or untied.

Well I dunno what to say about 1:38 really, I know bryan is great i mean I wouldnt say hes the best ever or anything insane but yes. I got to see him play in person and it was pretty impressive. Hes not a robot like people act like he is,  but yeah, caverns 1:38 has gotta be a good time on that level. He mentioned playing for something like that using a dif strat saving only those 2 other scientists or something, but to see he got 138 saving all those scientists is just insane...

How in the hell could you not say Bryan isn't the best ever, you could ONLY make a case for Wouter's unbelievably insane rampage in 03 or so when he had like 53 WRs at once, but I think everyone would agree this would top anything. Bryan forever > all.

You can't compare anything older anyway.  New strategies aside, players today are much better than sterlings and marshmallows ever were.  Why does US improving the world records mean anything about our newer members?  Thats independent -   yet they come and within weeks demolish the skill level of old champions (taking into consideration strategys that are now available to a new player).  Its between wouter and boss, and thats it.  I think boss has proved more, with the relative ease of WR getting, whereas wouter had the ability just crunch hours and hours getting the unthinkable times.

It's the same concept on how sports have developed over the years. Different eras and much stricter standards but those who played football in the 60s and 70s and were amazing (Starr, Unitas, Bradshaw, Staubach, etc) couldn't do a damn thing in today's NFL, but that doesn't change the fact that they were still some of the greatest players ever. Boss still doesn't have all 60 WRs obtained, 59 yeah but still not what Wouter's done.

I keep contradicting myself, I personally THINK Bosshardt is the best ever, but I'm saying you cannot count Wouter out by any means to anyone who thinks I'm crazy.

Consider the ratio between how fast the total time falls now and how fast it did 4+ years ago. Then compare it with the ratio between how maxed levels are now than they were 4+ years ago (we may also note that almost every new strat is not only faster, but more difficult than its predecessor). So I think it's fair to say players are better now than ever before. And who has been by far the most dominant player in that stretch... with many more untieds, new tricks discovered, and seconds taken off the total time than everybody else combined?

I didn't think 4 seconds would come have that so soon, I was expecting 1 or 2 then hoping someone would do boris running for the kill.  But that is one hell of a time.  How long did it take?  Where there any other records on the way?  8 untieds with no vids now.

There are only 6 untieds without vids.  Statue A, Egypt SA/00A, S1 00A, S2 00A and Cavs 138.

Aztec SA and Silo 00A have vids, and S1 SA isn't untied anymore :rollin
