the following are 100% sure possibilities:

Surface 1 1:02 - The most recent 1:03s have had the shittiest strafing ever, so just need someone like Illu or I to put together some sweet locks and there it is.

Caverns 1:02 - No explanation needed.  Anyone could get this with 7:0 which is possible, or someone good with a nice 3 or 4 boost run.

Statue 2:19 - Again, no explanation needed.  It's been failed, we just need to get lucky.

Surface 2 0:50 - Clems and I have both failed this with comms damage, just need to get luckier.  With boosts 49 isn't out of the question either.

Control 3:57 - Bryan was about a second off pace of his 4:00, with the start he had on the 3:59.  A better start is possible even than that, and there are other areas time could be made.  I wouldn't be surprised if under 3:57 happens, but I'll leave it here for now.

Aztec 1:30 - Good boosts and a solid run resulted in 1:33, but pausing in drones strat, possible better glass strat, and an unmaxable level are enough for me to say at least 1:30 is possible if not lower.

Jungle 0:51 - Illu had a badly located Xenia on his 52.  Also there are faster ways to get ammo than the SA/00A strat he used here (strafing headshot on a guard not out of the way.)  51 is certainly not out of the question.


These are a bit iffy, but still seemingly possible.

Silo 1:03 - I'm not totally sure this is possible, given the way the doors work.  Eventhough some bad stuff happened on my 1:04, I would suggest 1:03 is barely possible, with some sort of absolutely insane ending.  Other than that 1:04 seems very tough to beat.

Train 0:5? - The least maxable level ever.  We know 1:01 is the best WR, but we also know it's not maxed.  This can get under a minute but no one is counting on that anytime soon.

Streets 1:12 - All I can say is I've had 5:0 before the GL area, and on my 1:13 I had 0:0.  5 boosts is known to be a second and thus I will state 1:12 as being remotely possible with over 10 boosts.

Also, i've had 1:03's with bad locks. My strafing is a lot better now and ive had mid 1:03's, but 1:02 is insane regardless.

I think its more about what levels people will be wlling to play, both now and as the barrier becomes closer, that determines what WRs will be set.  They are all possible, but maybe not all will be achieved.  I think it is a great accomplishment to be the one to bring it to 19:59, and it will also be a stellar WR - one for the ages.  Activity in agent likley wont heat until 20:01ish though, so it'll take some big motivation to cut 5 more seconds from levels that aren't being played for untieds right now.

I think generally speaking Agent times are much closer to max than SA/00A simply because the levels are much easier, consistent and overplayed. The only level i can really think of thats harder on Agent is Statue.

I'd say the 7 seconds most likely to come off first would be...

Aztec 1:31 = 2 secs. Illu can def do 2 secs better than that 1:33.
Caverns 1:02 = 1 sec. Luke will get it eventually  
Surface 1 1:02 = 1 sec. Dave should be able to get this relatively easy.
Control 3:58 = 1 sec. Whenever Bryan goes back to it.
Statue 2:19 = 1 sec. Nobody's playing it now, and being the only one who has failed 2:19 on it, I feel kind of responsible to take it down...but we'll see   If not me then Jimmy or Bryan prolly.
Surface 2 :50 = 1 sec. What Ryan said.

Within 15 months maybe?

Oh and I don't think 1:15:00 will be the last minute barrier to be broken either. 1:14:00 seems most likely to me.

For the Agent 20:00 barrier, I'd say it will be broken by the end of 2008, let's say mid November.
Also, I don't think 1:15:00 will be broken before the end of the year. Now that the train festival is finished, total time will continue decreasing slowly. I also think 1:15:00 will be the last barrier broken, and I'm joining Octo there, thinking 1:14:30 will be hard enough already to my eyes (unless a new strat is discovered somewhere).
I don't say every record is close to its max, but as humans, we're not designed to do maxed times.

I don't know much about GE, but I guess it's the same thing with PD, with GE probably maxed more than PD.
Anyway, somehow people always think times are maxed (or close to), while they are not. If you look back at topics from the early days, people where debating about whether Villa agent 1:12 was possible for instance.
Of course alot of times are close to maxed out, as we are playing longer. But I totally agree with the list of Bryan, eventually (if top players keep being active, or new top players will join) most of those records are going to be gotten.

See theres your problem. Basically theres two kinds of people: idiots who dont think a new strat will ever come around or that strafing can get better etc, and people who have unrealistic ideas. I just dont see how a time like Dam :52 can happen when nobody has ever had the double gate already open for them, you can only get 2 maybe 3 boosts that will add 100% to your speed, and all 53's are probably .9x. Theres a difference bwteen acting like an ignorant moron and saying "oh that times maxed" to being a fool that thinks new strats will always come around. you just cant expect a new strat to come around all the time.

Bryan's times are pretty good maxes I think.  Those are about what TASes can get for the most part with the current knowledge.  Factor in the definite possibility of new knowledge and they can only get lower.

While those are good maxes, I think nearly all of them will never happen by a human, the probability just isn't feasible.
