Dam agent :54 x15 or so. This is ridiculous. I had a run that must have been the lowest 54 possible. The music was almost exactly where it was in the 53's i have seen, it was probably 54.1 or so. I guess it wasnt the most amazing run ever, just fast in general with a beautiful lock shot. Would have probably been 53 if i got a guard boost.

You can't always rely on the music on that level though, I'm pretty sure, I think Dan also mentioned having had better runs music wise than the 53 he eventually got.

You know, i have noticed that about Dam. Sometimes the music goes by faster at the dam part. for some reason, looking up seems to make the music play slower if that makes any sense. I dunno why. But ive had 55's with 54 sound and 54's with 55 sound, its just a really weird level.

Ever heard of not cutting the cinema at the exact same time each time?

The audio is seperate from the rest of the system anyway, that's why sometimes when the game freezes, the audio continues.

No I always cut both cinemas ASAP. So thats not it. Its just a really WEIRD level. I think it has to do with that, when you look up, theres less lag but the game speed is the same so thus the music appears slower in and a faster run. But when you look down, the lag is a little more and the music and run speed are more consistent. I dont know if looking up is even faster at all, it probably in actuality isnt. Maybe the music playing "slower" leads people to believe it is faster, when it indeed isnt. Im definitely going to use look down from now on. Nothing sucks more than watching both cinemas convinced you got a wr when you got a gay 54.

About Streets, what do you guys mean when you are adding time to a run based on which opening cinema you watch? Example,

No, one of the streets cinemas is .75 the other is .85, basicly where just useing what ever cinema we had, so we can figure a close decimal time for that run.
I guess the longer one could be better, since it gives you .1 more time to snag a boost.

I duped, but it was nothing particular, Control Nat not fast enough, need to pwn more the run, maybe play another level, Cradle fun despite failure today, have to walk tomorrow longer than 150m, 150m was distance to get pizza yesterday, wait had to walk back too, yeah so and maybe play some then.

but it ok just tomorrow go out some and then some.

Just so you know, I've spent more time on B1 00 than on silo 00 and silo A combined lol. I'd say about 15 hours for 131, 5 hours for 104 and then about 25 hours on B1 00 still haven't beat 112.

I dunno, some people are just terrible at some levels. Like Boss on facility, Wouter on statue, Illu on Silo, Dan on cradle, Alex on Jungle, Trent on Egypt, Jimbo on aztec, Henrik on silo, Mouser on aztec, Ace on Surface 2, Brandon on archives, etc

Dude i'm not that bad at Silo, I just haven't spent much time on it(least played level after caverns?). Sure i still think 00A is the hardest level in the game but i could definately get 1:06/1:15 on the other difficulties.

Are you getting shot by the drone in caverns 1:05's? If so those are probably 1:04 speed because ive had so many 1:04/1:03 speed runs ruined by that damn drone gun. I even thought about sniping it out in strafe with the ar33 lol but no such luck obviously.

with the most rediculous run ever. i might make the vid because its so insane. we were talking about what makes a good player, playing under strange situations etc; this run is proof that i have this skill. yeah, its pretty :eek

One back boost, alex, but if yo get shot by the drone theres a very good chance the enemies will be out and alerted to give you like 3 more back boosts, Thats what i meant. So in total, it ends up being like 3 back boosts. I think once i got 5 back boosts in that area and got 1:05 so yeah i was pretty pissed. Also dont back boosts stop your forward speed as well? I mean, dont you have to factor in the time lost and also the velocity lost? So Id think itd be more than .3 but oh welll.

I probably got 40 :19's before a :18 and i failed :18 like 5 times lol. My strat is a little different than in the vids though. it actually seems faster to me. I should have been taking the camera shot earlier, but when i did was go to the key in right strafe but leave in LEFT STRAFE, this prevented any lag from boris and then i pause in front of that door with the guards hoping to get boosted throgh. Switch to right and finish per normal. What i did with the camera was go in the room and veer a little to the left so i could see the whole screen and take it. I failed the camera shot a few times so i decided to make it every time. if i go for 17 i will take it earlier though.

heh well if so thatd be pretty awesome. It just seemed much easier for me. I suck in right strafe in bunker because its hard to see where the crates are and it helps me reach the doorway in the fastest amount of time and time the pause better. when I switched to right strafe for a while i didnt even get one :18 fail, so when i went BACK to left strafe, i got :18 like 10 minutes later heh. everyone is different i guess but for me it worked out much better.
