so I don't know if this was brought up much, but I figure it'll serve two purposes (one for me :) )

First off, I still don't know why cinema saves time, can someone help me out with that?

Also, if you've tried cinema with 16:9, everything is skinny, but that also widens the viewing area, making you able to see a hell of a lot.  Still goofiness, but hey, figured I'd bring it up :)

When i tried it out, my initial thought was that it was like moving the spy cam outa PD. The vision sorta i dunno, looks weird at the edges when you move. But anyway...

that doesn't answer my question :(

you keep saying that you see possible improvement on such and such level, BUT WHAT'S THE IMPROVEMENT!

Is it some smoothness thing?  is it some wall glitch thing?  Does it make natalya hot?

That's my question :(

mainly the natalya hot thing

Improvement is nothing i can feel. Its when I quit out or finish my run, the run is faster then It should have been. But at the end of b2 its not laggy at all which is intense

again, it's nice to know that it doesn't feel like it helps, but what the hell is it trying to help?  does anyone understand questions?

Well the theory was that the game would lag less because there is more black on the screen.

why don't you read this board, it tries to reduce lag when Bond says 'help me I'm stuck in a cell'

The board gets too boggled sometimes, and I figured a simple question with a simple quick answer wouldn't be a hard thing for people to comprehend.

By the way, I still haven't seen a post from Wouter that isn't an attempt at being demeaning to someone, it is kinda funny.

without Wouter this board would be hella boring, to say the least, nothing is more hilarious than how he busts out random comments while people are trying a serious GE related discussion, hehe

I did some testing on emulator (for a few minutes) on what the different settings do to the frames per second. Dam was the place and i just stood there once the truck left. Normal settings had the highest fps at about 40 average while cinema + 16:9 was variable (probably because the guard was visible) but it was way lower at a bit less than 30 fps. The others were in between depending on what was changed, 16:9 didn't drop the frame rate as much as wide & cinema did. So if this is true, less fps = slower clock? No more look down then. :rolleyes
